Due to significant growth, a global leading engineering group has a new vacancy for a UK QHSE Manager. Joining at a time of investment and new plant projects, you will lead the management and oversight of UK operations to develop improved and robust Quality, Health and Safety Practices & Policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation across the UK locations.
- Develop and implement Health and Safety initiatives to improve safety and learning across the UK operations.
- Management, development and oversight of the UK Quality Management Systems.
- Establish and develop long term relationships with key function stakeholders across the UK business.
- Manage, apply and develop the existing Health and Safety management systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Management and oversight of site-based advisors and auditors including their training and development.
- Develop training initiatives and schedules for site-based advisors to deliver.
- Management, oversight and development of sub-contract and consultancy use in H&S management as assigned to the larger project delivery requirements.
The Person:
- Qualified in occupational Health and Safety to a minimum of NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety delivery and the ability to move through the scales.
