A global manufacturing group supplying complex piping to the Marine and Energy sectors is opening a new site and has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Coordinator to join the rapidly growing team.

You will be responsible for ensuring products comply with customer & industry requirements and providing strategic leadership to the team.

Applicants are sought with a proven track record of quality control, with strong leading skills and Welding Inspection CSWIP 3.1 or higher is essential.

The Role

Review, develop, and qualify Welding Procedures and ensure the team is aware of specifications and instructions.

Oversee and execute Non-Destructive Testing programs, ensuring proper application of inspections.

Lead and conduct comprehensive inspections on incoming materials, in-process fabrications, and final completed assemblies.

Coordinate technical inspections and sign-offs with customers and third-party inspection agencies.

Initiate, facilitate, and lead deep-dive investigations into complex quality defects, warranty claims or weld failures.

Define, implement, and track the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions to drive continuous improvement.

The Role

Welding Inspection: CSWIP 3.1 or higher is essential.

Previous experience in a senior quality control or inspection role.

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.

Excellent leadership skills.

The ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

The confidence to identify and report quality issues
