A global manufacturer of precision metal components to the Automotive, Aerospace & High Technology sectors has a new vacancy for a Project Manager to join the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex NPI projects, excellent organizational skills and will have worked in a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, etc).

The Role

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Work with customers to ensure products meet with expectations and delivery times.
  • Develop and track to full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Ensure quality standards and business requirements are met.
  • Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Worked in a fast paced highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc).
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment.
