A global leading manufacturer of advanced engineered products and services has a new vacancy for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Joining at a time of expansion and significant plant improvements, candidates will be tasked with planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery.
The Role
- Conduct Mechanical fault finding and repairs.
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic fault finding and repairs.
- Help develop, implement, and improve Preventive Maintenance and reliability schedules.
- Support TPM plan.
- Report findings to Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
- Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies.
- Assist Facility repairs as and when required.
- Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning).
The Candidate
- Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant background.
- Experienced with Mechanical Maintenance activities within an engineering environment.
- Self-motivated individual with good organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement.
- High level of self-motivation, creativity and flexibility.
- Must be computer literate.
- Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
