A global leading manufacturer of advanced engineered products and services has a new vacancy for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Joining at a time of expansion and significant plant improvements, candidates will be tasked with planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery.

The Role

  • Conduct Mechanical fault finding and repairs.
  • Pneumatic and Hydraulic fault finding and repairs.
  • Help develop, implement, and improve Preventive Maintenance and reliability schedules.
  • Support TPM plan.
  • Report findings to Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
  • Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Assist Facility repairs as and when required.
  • Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning).

The Candidate

  • Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant background.
  • Experienced with Mechanical Maintenance activities within an engineering environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with good organisational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement.
  • High level of self-motivation, creativity and flexibility.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
