A global manufacturer developing an innovative product for use in the Aerospace & Automotive sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Engineer to join the team. Focused on New Product Introduction, the position will focus on strengthening design robustness, manufacturing readiness and long-term product reliability. Candidates are sought with a good understanding of the APQP process and will have worked in a fast-paced highly regulated sector.

The Role

  • Lead quality activities for NPI projects, supporting concept-to-release deliverables and manufacturing readiness.
  • Ensure all quality activities, risk assessments and deliverables are completed in accordance with APQP requirements and a zero-defect launch.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.
