Following group promotion, a global manufacturer of electronic components to the medical, consumer and high technology sectors has a new vacancy for a Finance Manager to join the UK plant near Leicester. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management gained within a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, logistics, distribution, etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting for the company.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor cost controls measures to enhance profitability.
- Prepare and present monthly and year end accounts.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to drive business performance.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize financial processes and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis as needed.

The Person:
- Qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or extensive equivalent experience in financial management.
