A global manufacturer of precision metal components to the Automotive, Aerospace & High Technology sectors has a new vacancy for a Project Manager to join the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex NPI projects, excellent organizational skills and will have worked in a fast‑paced complex manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, etc).
The Role
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Work with customers to ensure products meet with expectations and delivery times.
- Develop and track to full‑scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Ensure quality standards and business requirements are met.
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Worked in a fast paced highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc).
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high‑pressured environment.
