A manufacturer of precision components has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Engineer.
Joining at a time of company expansion, you will be tasked with carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of plant machinery to ensure maximum efficiency with minimum downtime.
Candidates are sought who are electrically qualified with good multiskilled experience and have worked in precision engineering.
The Role
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on plant machinery and equipment.
Carry out planned maintenance activities in line with the maintenance schedule.
Identify and resolve any technical issues that could affect production efficiency.
Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Working and partnering with contractors.
Adopt and promote continuous improvement methodologies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all machinery operates safely.
Collaborate with the engineering team to upgrade and improve existing systems and machinery.
Ensure the PPM schedules are adhered to.
The Person
Proven experience as an Electrical or Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer gained in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Good knowledge of reading electrical drawings, technical manuals and instructions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations
