Our client is a leading manufacturing company supplying advanced engineering components and services to the Aerospace, Automotive & High Technology Sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion, they have a new vacancy for a EHS & Facilities Engineering Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Health & Safety management systems, managing facilities maintenance and identifying areas for improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the site, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Oversee the facilities maintenance of buildings, utilities and site infrastructure. Manage facilities maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, cost, and performance standards are met. Identify areas for improvement across the plant and implement changes. Conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required. Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement. Manage suppliers and control budgets for facilities services. The Person Proven experience in an EHS and/or Facilities Management role within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment. Recognized Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, certification or equivalent). Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation. Experience managing contractors, maintenance programs, and facility improvement projects. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
