Due to business growth, a global leading manufacturer of precision machined components has a new vacancy for a CNC Operator. This role offers excellent training, development, and long-term career progression.

You will be responsible for loading fixtures, tooling, and materials onto machines, while ensuring all finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

The Role

  • Set up and operate CNC machines
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced operators when required
  • Manufacture and inspect first-off components, ensuring full compliance with specifications
  • Identify non-conforming parts, accurately record defects and promptly report issues
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment by following 6S standards and carrying out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)
  • Continuously develop skills by learning new machine controls, machining processes, and inspection techniques

The Person

  • Previous experience working as a CNC Operator, setter or machinist
  • Familiar with manufacturing documentation including procedures, work instructions and customer specifications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Motivated and excellent team player
