Due to significant growth and expansion, a global leading has a new vacancy for an Application Engineer to join the team.

As technical expert you will provide guidance and consult on best tooling practises and product selection, candidates are sought with a good understanding of Carbide cutting tools.

The Role

Provide technical guidance and expertise on cutting tool applications and best practise.

Report on the progress of technical projects to the sales team and regional management.

Identify wear mechanisms and recommend solutions to maximises use.

Collaborate with the team to respond effectively to customer needs and requirements.

Determine if tooling is being used correctly and identify wear and use issues.

Collaborate with the team to meet customer requirements.

Provide product training and direction.

The Person

A good understanding of Carbide cutting tools and best practice.

Ability to read and understand technical specifications.
