The predicted salary is between 35000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Due to continued company growth and expansion, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Senior Production Planner.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining production plans and schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met and monitoring stock levels to prevent bottlenecks.

Applicants are sought with previous planning experience gained within a complex manufacturing environment.

The Role Develop production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels & capacity.

Production planning of parts, including issues work orders on the ERP system.

Review customer requirements and schedules for manufactured parts.

Liaise with Sales teams and when required and provide customers with delivery updates Monitor production progress and address potential delays or bottlenecks.

Attend and contribute to production meetings and advise supervisors of any priority parts or changes in requirements Maintain and update ERP System for planning functions.

Update work order issues changes for BOMs and issue any changes to drawings to the correct department.

The Person Experience in a production planning role within a complex manufacturing environment.

ERP/MRP experience.

Methodical, detail orientated with good time management.

Advanced Excel skills with a good understanding of MS office functions.

Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience of managing a demanding workload in accordance with tight deadlines.
