Due to company growth and expansion, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for an FP&A Accountant. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for preparing detailed forecasts, budgets as supporting monthly management accounts. Candidates are sought with experience gained within a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, distribution, construction, etc).

The Role

  • Prepare detailed cost analysis across all areas of the business.
  • Identify, develop and implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop and produce financial and operating reports.
  • Prepare project weekly, monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Assist in the delivery of site annual business plans, providing financial and commercial guidance where necessary.
  • Support month-end financial closing activities and ensure an efficient and effective close is performed.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Company’s internal controls, processes, procedures and systems.
  • Support the company’s operations by providing financial information for decision making.

The Person

  • Previous accounting experience gained in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent including qualified by experience.
  • Experience of working with teams to implement best practice and driving process improvements and reporting capabilities.
  • Flexibility, well organised, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Organisational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
