Following the award of new long-term programmes and continued business expansion, a leading manufacturer of precision components serving the aerospace, defence, and energy sectors is seeking to appoint a CNC Grinder to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Grinding machines to produce complex high-precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished components for conformance to customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Work with team members and departments to meet production deadlines.
- Perform basic maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
The person:
- Previous experience working as a CNC Grinder.
- Previous experience working in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, energy, etc).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Willing to work on a three-shift pattern.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
