We are currently recruiting for a Senior Ecommerce Manager to join an innovative and award-winning beauty brand in London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimise the UK direct-to-consumer (DTC) and marketplace channels for a company renowned for transforming the beauty industry with cutting-edge products. As Senior Ecommerce Manager, you will take charge of growing and optimising the UK ecommerce channels. Reporting to the Brand Marketing Director, you’ll manage the website, develop strategies for customer acquisition, and ensure seamless site operations. With a focus on revenue growth, user experience, and digital marketing, you’ll lead cross-functional teams and work closely with digital agencies and technology partners to deliver the best-in-class ecommerce experience.
Responsibilities:- Website Management & Trading
- Develop strategies to drive conversion and revenue growth across DTC and marketplace channels.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience on the website, driving revenue, conversion rates, and traffic.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to execute campaigns and coordinate promotional calendars.
- Forecast inventory and work with the supply chain to ensure stock availability.
- Manage website merchandising and content updates to optimise shopping experience.
- Analyse performance using tools like Google Analytics and Triple Whale to inform future strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Oversee UX/UI improvements to enhance usability and drive customer engagement.
- Troubleshoot and implement new features with developers and agencies.
- Utilise A/B testing and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain relationships with key ecommerce partners, marketplaces, and digital agencies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work with digital marketing teams to optimise paid media and customer acquisition strategies.
- Enhance SEO on the website to increase organic traffic and improve rankings.
- Support the email marketing strategy, focusing on segmentation and personalisation.
- Work with the Brand Manager to optimise CRM and email marketing strategies.
- Collaborate on implementing loyalty programmes and retention strategies to drive repeat purchases.
- Proven experience in managing DTC platforms, ideally Shopify, within the beauty or haircare industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Meta, and Klaviyo.
- Commercial expertise in driving ecommerce growth and performance marketing strategies.
- Proven track record of scaling ecommerce businesses and increasing revenue.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with global teams.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
This is a London-based with hybrid working, full-time opportunity and depending on your experience, the team is open to considering candidates at either Manager or Senior Manager level.
