We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing and disruptive beauty brand shaking up the haircare industry in the UK. They are looking for a passionate and innovative Product Development Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bringing new cutting-edge beauty products to market. They are a fast-growing, founder-led beauty brand known for cruelty-free, innovative haircare products. Based in the UK, they’ve won awards including ‘Best New Brand’ and featured in the Sunday Times. With a presence in top UK retailers and a commitment to sustainability and simplicity, they are transforming the haircare and beauty landscape.
As the Product Development Manager, you’ll lead in the end-to-end delivery of new, innovative beauty products/categories, from creative conception through to launch. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to create impactful and trend-driven beauty products.
Responsibilities:- Drive product innovation aligned with brand and market trends
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle
- Conduct consumer, market, and competitor research
- Partner with design, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Manage formulation, packaging, and compliance processes
- Develop and track timelines, budgets, and key milestones
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers
- Champion sustainability in product creation
- Monitor and improve post-launch product performance
- Experience in beauty product development, preferably skincare and hair
- Team and project management experience
- Strong supplier relationship management skills
- In-depth knowledge of skin/hair care ingredients and claims
- Understanding of the EU beauty regulatory landscape
