We are partnering with a globally recognised luxury beauty house celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship and refined brand experience. The business is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Development Manager to lead the execution of premium packaging solutions across fragrance, bath & body, and home categories. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in London with hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 from home).

As Packaging Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the brand’s luxury vision to life through elevated packaging that embodies both aesthetic excellence and technical rigour. Reporting to the Global Packaging Development Director, you will be part of a dedicated team of five, working collaboratively to deliver innovative and beautifully crafted packaging across the brand’s global portfolio.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure all components reflect the brand’s high standards and enhance the consumer experience.
- Lead the end-to-end development of luxury packaging across key categories including fragrance, bath & body, home, and seasonal gifting.
- Ensure all packaging reflects the brand’s identity, with a focus on premium finishes, materials, and functionality.
- Evaluate feasibility, tooling, risks, timelines, and costs, while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail.
- Collaborate closely with design, supply chain, and global suppliers to uphold quality, compliance, and technical excellence.
- Lead FMEA sessions to assess and mitigate risks across packaging development processes.
- Act as a guardian of brand equity in packaging, ensuring consistency and refinement across all touchpoints.
Significant experience in packaging development, ideally within the luxury beauty, fragrance, or high-end consumer goods sectors.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, technically sound, and visually premium packaging solutions.
A deep appreciation for luxury aesthetics and customer experience.
Strong project management skills, with an agile, collaborative approach.
Degree in Engineering, Packaging, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of packaging regulations and best practices in sustainability.
