We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing and innovative beauty brand based in the North West (UK). This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded Product Development Executive looking to lead exciting beauty projects from concept through to launch while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will play a key role in bringing innovative beauty products to market. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will oversee product development projects from concept through to production, ensuring commercial objectives, quality standards and timelines are successfully achieved.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development projects from initial concept through to production.
- Manage project timelines and critical development paths.
- Drive product costing activity and supplier negotiations.
- Develop and execute product testing programmes.
- Analyse consumer feedback, market insights and testing results to inform decisions.
- Partner with marketing teams to support product claims and launch strategies.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with packaging, technical, quality and marketing teams.
- Identify and mitigate development, quality, cost and timeline risks.
- Create presentations, project updates and recommendation documents for stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging ingredients and market innovations to identify future opportunities.
Requirements
- Background in beauty, skincare or cosmetics product development.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end product development process.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supplier management and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of product costing and margin considerations.
- Experience supporting or leading product testing programmes.
- Exposure to formulation development and technical product considerations.
- Knowledge of shade development processes.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and accountable approach to work.
