Veblen International are partnering with a growing luxury beauty brand to recruit an HR Manager / HR Business Partner based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a founder-led beauty business with an established international presence across premium retail and e-commerce channels. The company is entering a new phase of growth and is now bringing HR in-house for the first time.
Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, this role will establish the HR function internally and support the organisation as it continues to scale. The successful candidate will play a key role in building HR structure, supporting managers and ensuring the business has strong people foundations in place.
The position will suit someone who enjoys working in a growing entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable combining strategic HR partnership with hands-on delivery.
- Establishing core HR policies, processes and documentation across the organisation
- Implementing structured processes for onboarding, probation, performance management and offboarding
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and line managers on HR matters and employment best practice
- Managing employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
- Supporting recruitment activity in partnership with hiring managers and external search partners
- Contributing to performance frameworks, development planning and organisational capability building
- Supporting salary benchmarking, benefits review and workforce planning
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with UK employment law
HR experience within a growing organisation or SME environment is required, along with strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience advising managers on employee relations and people management is essential. The candidate should be comfortable building HR processes and infrastructure within a scaling business. The company offers a competitive package plus hybrid working. Experience within the beauty industry would be strongly preferred.
