We are recruiting for a fast‑growing, Health & Wellness focused consumer brand passionate about delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.

We’re seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial, and strategic Head of Business Development to build and nurture new partnerships that bring the brand’s mission to new audiences through wide and varied channels.

This innovative brand is dedicated to quality, transparency, and building strong connections with its customers. With a focus on health and wellbeing, they are renowned for producing some of the highest quality omega‑3, collagen, magnesium, and vitamin D products in the market.

They pride themselves on storytelling, community‑building, and delivering exceptional brand experiences across digital and retail platforms. Their core business is direct‑to‑consumer, enabling them to build close relationships with their customers.

You’ll own the business development strategy, identify opportunities, go after new business, and think outside the box about new sales channels, negotiate contracts and turn ideas into the long‑lasting partnerships. Reporting to the CEO/Founder, whilst leading a lean but mighty BD team.

This is a high impact role where you would be part of a close‑knit team that encompasses a mission‑driven culture, values mental health, balance, and genuine connection with their community.

Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B Growth: Develop and execute a UK growth strategy to significantly increase wholesale and partnership revenue over the next two financial years.
  • Identify Opportunities: Target high‑potential sectors such as wellness, hospitality, corporate health, and premium lifestyle brands.
  • Lead Commercial Strategy: Build business cases, manage the sales pipeline, close deals, and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Own Performance Metrics: Set KPIs, forecasts, budgets, and reporting frameworks; take full responsibility for B2B P&L.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop the business development team, expanding resources as ROI supports growth.
  • Partnership Management: Create tailored propositions, negotiate agreements, and ensure seamless execution with internal teams.
  • Market Insight & Representation: Stay ahead of industry trends, gather market intelligence, and represent the brand at key events.

Requirements

  • Extensive Commercial Expertise: 10+ years in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within premium health, wellness, or beauty sectors.
  • Industry Network: Strong connections across UK wellness channels — clinics, gyms, spas, and related sectors.
  • Negotiation & Relationship Building: Skilled at securing agreements and representing brands at senior level.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Proven ability to design frameworks and deliver commercially valuable collaborations.
  • Leadership & Hands‑On Approach: Comfortable managing a small team while actively driving results.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Exceptional Communication: Persuasive, collaborative, and confident in stakeholder engagement.
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the Wellness industry would be a bonus.
