We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing global beauty and fragrance business with an international portfolio of consumer brands. This hybrid role, based in London/Watford, offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial strategy and brand execution, supporting global markets, distributors, and retail partners across a diverse brand portfolio.
Our client is an international beauty and fragrance group with UK roots and global ambition, managing a portfolio of well-known licensed and lifestyle brands. The business operates across multiple markets, partnering closely with distributors and retailers, and is recognised for its commercial energy, entrepreneurial culture, and strong focus on brand consistency and performance.
This global commercial marketing role sits within the international brand function and reports into a senior commercial marketing leader. The position is responsible for translating global brand strategies into commercially effective market plans, working closely with brand, creative, sales, and regional teams. Acting as a key link between global strategy and local execution, the role plays a central part in driving profitable growth across international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with global brand teams to develop and implement commercially driven brand strategies
- Translate global brand plans into actionable market strategies for local teams and distributors
- Work closely with creative and brand teams to ensure consistent execution of brand DNA across all markets
- Collaborate with area managers and local markets to adapt strategies to regional and commercial needs
- Support the development and execution of strong, commercially focused launch plans
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders
- Create clear, compelling brand and commercial presentations for retail and distributor audiences
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of brand plans, assets, and updates to markets
- Partner with operations and supply teams to support the smooth delivery of new launches
- Analyse media performance, commercial data, and market feedback to inform ongoing optimisation
- Ensure brand consistency and guideline compliance across online retail platforms
- Lead the development and upkeep of brand toolkits, guidelines, and trade catalogues
- Compile and present regular distributor and commercial performance reports, highlighting insights and opportunities
Experience Requirements:
- Background in commercial marketing, trade marketing, sales, buying, or brand roles within beauty, fragrance, fashion, or a related consumer sector
- Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to balance brand strategy and sales performance
- Confident working with data, performance metrics, and market insights to inform decision‑making
- Experienced in working across global teams, markets, and external partners
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple markets and priorities
- Proactive and self‑motivated, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced international environment
- Relationship‑driven, collaborative working style
- High attention to detail and commitment to consistent brand execution
