As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Civils Operative to join our team based in Birmingham (Coleshill).

The Role

As a Civils Operative, you will work as part of a team on-site, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of all civils works in line with company standards and client requirements. This role is essential in supporting our build and reinstatement stages, contributing directly to the continued growth of our telecoms network across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards on-site.
  • Ensure equipment, materials, and site arrangements are prepared before work begins (early starts may be required).
  • Conduct daily risk assessments and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Carry out blockage clearance and reinstatement works as required.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Essential Requirements / Certifications

  • NRSWA Units: LA, 01 SA006 certification
  • Proven experience in groundworks and civils operations (telecoms or utilities sector preferred)
  • Strong commitment to health & safety and a proactive work attitude
  • Full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Must be over 25 years of age (for vehicle insurance purposes)
  • Criminal Records Check may be required
  • Regular drugs and alcohol tests will be conducted
