Experienced Mobile Telecoms Civils Teams Required – Nationwide

Due to planned growth within our Wireless Telecoms Division, VEA Telecoms is looking to engage experienced Mobile Telecoms Civils Teams for upcoming projects nationwide. We are looking for established teams with proven experience delivering civils works on mobile telecoms infrastructure, including greenfield sites, rooftop sites, street works and existing operational telecoms sites. This opportunity is aimed specifically at Contractors/Operatives with demonstrable experience within the mobile telecoms sector. We are not looking for general fibre, broadband or utilities civils gangs without mobile telecoms infrastructure experience for this role.

Scope of Works

  • Site clearance and enabling works
  • Excavation and trenching
  • Tower and monopole foundations
  • Reinforced concrete bases and plinths
  • Cabinet base construction, installations and removals
  • Duct installation, chambers and cable routes
  • Equipment compounds, fencing and gates
  • Gantries and cable management systems
  • Drainage and access works
  • Site upgrades and decommissioning
  • Reinstatement and completion of associated civils works

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering civils works on mobile telecoms infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on both new-build and site upgrade programmes
  • Relevant CSCS, CPCS and/or NPORS competencies
  • NRSWA qualifications where applicable
  • Plant and excavator competence
  • Ability to interpret drawings, RAMS and project specifications
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete site records, photographic evidence and handover documentation
  • Full UK driving licence(s)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to travel and work away where required
  • Appropriate company insurances and supporting documentation
