Your Mission

As a Fibre Splicer, you\'ll be at the frontline of our operations, ensuring the backbone of our networks is strong and battle-ready. You\'ll:

  • Splice fibre optic cables (fusion & mechanical) across underground, aerial, and in-premises environments.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimise networks with tools like OTDRs, power meters, and light sources, keeping performance sharp and reliable.
  • Install and maintain cables, enclosures, connectors, and patch panels with precision.
  • Read and interpret splicing diagrams, blueprints, and network plans to execute work flawlessly.
  • Carry out upgrades, repairs, and expansions to keep our infrastructure ahead of the game.
  • Keep accurate records of your work, from test results to material use.
  • Work safely, always protecting yourself, your crew, and the mission.
  • Collaborate with teammates, contractors, and clients to deliver on time and on target.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with persistence and skill.

  • Strong knowledge of fibre optic technology and network construction.
