Civils Operatives

VEA Telecoms UK is currently recruiting for the role of Civils Operatives. The position is based out of our Birmingham office but requires working across Greater Manchester daily.

Due to the high risks involved in this job, Civils Operatives must be responsible individuals with a strong focus on safety precautions. The ideal candidate should also have experience in various groundworks.

Key responsibilities:

1. Take responsibility for safety, quality, and environmental aspects of the work site, as well as the welfare of fellow employees.
2. Plan and coordinate site work according to client instructions and the directives of the Operations Manager.
3. Ensure equipment, materials, and site arrangements are prepared at the start of each day, which may require early starts.
4. Conduct daily risk assessments and ensure all safety, health, and environmental requirements are met to maintain safe service delivery.
5. Handle blockages and reinstatements effectively.

This role is crucial in enabling us to progress swiftly to the build stage and continue expanding our Telecoms operations.
