VEA Telecoms UK are currently recruiting for the roles of Civils Operatives, based in Kendal but requiring work across various sites in Cumbria daily.
Due to the high risk involved in this job, Civils Operatives must be responsible individuals with a strong focus on safety precautions. The ideal candidate should also be experienced in different kinds of groundworks.
Key responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the safety, quality, and environmental aspects of your work site and the welfare of fellow employees.
- Plan and coordinate site works according to client instructions and the Operations Manager.
- Ensure equipment, materials, and site arrangements are ready at the start of the day, which may require early starts.
- Conduct daily risk assessments and adhere to all safety, health, and environmental requirements to ensure safe and consistent service delivery.
- Experience in dealing with blockages and reinstatements.
This role is pivotal in enabling us to progress quickly to the build stage before reinstatement, supporting the growth of our Telecoms presence.
