Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant to support the delivery of large-scale payroll transformation programmes within complex enterprise environments. The successful candidate will play a key role across payroll design, configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
This role requires strong expertise across SAP Employee Central Payroll, SAP ECC Payroll, payroll integrations, UK statutory payroll processes, and payroll operational support within hybrid SAP landscapes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end implementation and deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions.
- Analyse existing SAP ECC Payroll configurations and assist in mapping Legacy payroll functionality to the target ECP environment.
- Configure and maintain payroll schemas, payroll functions, PCRs, wage types, payroll controls, and operational payroll settings.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll SMEs, finance teams, architects, and integration specialists throughout all phases of project delivery.
- Participate in payroll data migration, validation, reconciliation, and defect management activities to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), payroll simulations, and parallel payroll runs.
- Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare support, and transition to BAU operations.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in governance forums, project reviews, status reporting, and issue resolution discussions.
- Support payroll compliance activities aligned with UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, pensions processing, and statutory reporting requirements.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SAP ECC Payroll.

- Ability to support defect analysis, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and operational transition activities.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
