Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central & Onboarding Consultant to support the delivery of large-scale payroll transformation programmes within complex enterprise environments. The role requires deep expertise in Employee Central data models, HR core processes, onboarding configuration, and integration with broader SAP SuccessFactors modules. The consultant will support end-to-end HR transformation activities including data migration, system configuration, integration design, testing, and transition to BAU operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and design of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Onboarding solutions.
- Analyse existing HR processes and data structures including:
- Employee master data
- Organisational structures
- Position management
- Job and pay structures
- Lifecycle events (hire, transfer, termination)
- Define target‑state Employee Central data model aligned to:
- SAP best practices
- HR operating model transformation
- Compliance and governance requirements
- Configure and support Employee Central modules including:
- Foundation objects
- Employee data model
- Business rules
- Workflows and approvals
- Configure SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding processes including:
- Onboarding workflows
- Task management
- Compliance documentation
- Pre‑boarding processes
- Support data migration from SAP ECC/SAP HCM to Employee Central.
- Design and support integrations with:
- SAP Payroll / ECP
- SAP Recruiting
- SAP CPI and middleware platforms
- Support testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Support cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Work closely with HR, payroll, integration, security, and programme teams.
- Ensure documentation, configuration design, and knowledge transfer deliverables are completed.
- Participate in governance forums and design authority reviews.
- Configure SAP SuccessFactors EC: Data Models, Workflows, Business Rules, Foundation Objects, and Position Management.
- Lead EC solution design sessions aligned with HR transformation goals.
- Work closely with ECP teams to ensure EC structures support payroll replication.
- Manage EC data migration, validation, and data quality governance.
- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications (time, payroll, analytics).
- Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and lead EC cutover activities.
- Provide advisory on EC best practices, release upgrades, and governance.
- Train HRIS teams and support ongoing EC operations.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.
- Strong understanding of HR core processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with:
- Data models (Foundation Objects, MDF objects)
- Business rules and workflows
- Role‑based permissions (RBP)
- Experience integrating Employee Central with:
- SAP Payroll / Employee Central Payroll
- SAP Recruiting
- SAP CPI / middleware platforms
- Experience in HR data migration and transformation from SAP ECC/SAP HCM.
- Strong understanding of HR reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience in testing, defect management, and release cycles.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and cloud HR transformation projects.
Essential Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing SAP SuccessFactors EC.
- Deep knowledge of EC Data Models, RBP, MDF, and Position Management.
- Experience integrating EC with ECP, payroll, or time systems.
- Strong HR process design and global template implementation experience.
