As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Specialist to support our people operations, employee engagement, compliance, and talent management activities from our Maidenhead office.

Role Overview<\/b>

The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation, maintaining HR policies and processes, and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR matters.
<\/div>
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration, along with the ability to work in a fast -paced and growing organisation.

Requirements<\/h3>HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Manage end -to -end employee onboarding and offboarding processes.<\/div>β€’ Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.<\/div>β€’ Support contract preparation, amendments, and employment -related correspondence.<\/div>β€’ Administer probation reviews, performance reviews, and employee development plans.<\/div>β€’ Manage employee benefits administration, including pension and healthcare schemes.<\/div>β€’ Ensure HR systems and employee data are accurate and up to date.<\/div><\/b><\/div>Employee Relations:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Provide first -line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.<\/div>β€’ Support disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management processes.<\/div>β€’ Assist with investigations and documentation relating to employee relations matters.<\/div>β€’ Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.<\/div><\/div>Compliance & Policies:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and best practices.<\/div>β€’ Review, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook documentation.<\/div>β€’ Support GDPR compliance relating to employee data.<\/div>β€’ Assist with right -to -work checks, and employment compliance requirements.<\/div>β€’ Support audits and certification requirements where HR input is required.<\/div><\/div>Recruitment & Talent Management:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer management.<\/div>β€’ Work with hiring managers to support workforce planning and talent acquisition.<\/div>β€’ Support employee development, training initiatives, and succession planning activities.<\/div>β€’ Maintain relationships with recruitment partners and external HR service providers.<\/div><\/div>Reporting & Continuous Improvement:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Prepare HR reports and management information relating to headcount, absence, turnover, and recruitment.<\/div>β€’ Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.<\/div>β€’ Support implementation of HR initiatives and organisational change programmes.<\/div><\/div>Essential Skills & Experience<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role.<\/div>β€’ Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.<\/div>β€’ Experience managing employee relations matters.<\/div>β€’ Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.<\/div>β€’ Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.<\/div>β€’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/div>β€’ Strong organisational and administrative abilities.<\/div>β€’ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.<\/div>β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.<\/div><\/div>Desirable Skills:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards qualification).<\/div>β€’ Experience within a technology, consulting, or professional services environment.<\/div>β€’ Experience supporting visa sponsorship and immigration -related processes.<\/div>β€’ Knowledge of payroll processes and employee benefits administration.<\/div>β€’ Experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as Moorepay or similar platforms.<\/div><\/div>Personal Attributes:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Professional and approachable.<\/div>β€’ Strong attention to detail.<\/div>β€’ Proactive and solution -oriented.<\/div>β€’ Excellent stakeholder management skills.<\/div>β€’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.<\/div>β€’ Strong commitment to employee wellbeing and organisational culture.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/span>Benefits<\/h3>What We Offer:<\/b><\/div><\/div>β€’ Competitive salary.<\/div>β€’ Private healthcare.<\/div>β€’ Professional development and training opportunities.<\/div>β€’ Career progression within a growing technology business.<\/div>β€’ Collaborative and supportive working environment.<\/div>β€’ Opportunity to contribute to the growth and culture of an ambitious organisation.<\/div><\/b><\/div>Location Requirement:<\/b> Candidates should be able to commute to and work from our Maidenhead office on a regular basis. <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/span>
