Job Description
Design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure and delivery pipelines using
Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
Own environments end-to-end and keep them reliable, secure, and automated.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities
Build and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS / AKS)
Configure:
Ingress (NGINX / ALB / Application Gateway)
Resource limits, namespaces, and network policies
Deploy workloads using Helm
Debug production issues (pods, networking, DNS, scaling)
Infrastructure as Code
Provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, security groups)
Kubernetes and supporting services
Manage state, environments, and versioning safely
Apply changes using plan/apply discipline
CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Automate:
Application builds and deployments
Terraform validation and deployment
Implement branch protections, approvals, and environment controls
Work directly with AWS or Azure
Configure IAM / Entra roles, secrets, and access controls
Manage container images and registries
Ensure environments are reproducible and cost-aware
Observability & Ops
Implement logging, metrics, and alerting
Troubleshoot live issues and production incidents
Perform root cause analysis and preventative fixes
Required Technical Skills
Must Have
GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines)
Docker & container fundamentals
Good to Have
Bash or Python scripting
Security hardening and secrets management
Engineering Expectations
Writes clean, version-controlled infrastructure code
Understands trade-offs (speed vs reliability vs cost)
Documents decisions and patterns briefly but clearly
