Key responsibilities
- Dashboarding & reporting
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for operational and senior stakeholders
- Translate business, regulatory, or service questions into meaningful metrics
- Ensure consistency of definitions, calculations, and data sources
- Insight & interpretation
- Analyse trends, patterns, and exceptions across service or programme data
- Provide narrative insight alongside metrics — not just charts
- Highlight emerging risks, dependencies, or areas requiring intervention
- Operational & performance insight
- Report on service usage, operational performance, and health indicators
- Work with monitoring or telemetry data where available
- Support continuous improvement through data-led insight
- Governance & documentation
- Maintain documentation for reports, metrics, and assumptions
- Support auditability and stakeholder confidence in reported figures
Required skills & experience
- Strong experience with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent)
