VDV Search partnered with a fast-growing business in the creator economy to hire a Sales Manager, Creator Sales & Partnerships. This is a senior, relationship-led role for someone who has sold directly to creators as businesses, structured long-term commercial partnerships, and understands creator monetisation beyond campaigns, ads, or affiliate programmes.
The role involves building and owning a selective creator acquisition strategy, working closely with creators and their representatives to structure bespoke, long-term monetisation partnerships. This is not a brand partnerships, influencer marketing, or creator operations role. It’s a creator-first commercial role, focused on judgement, trust, and deal quality over volume.
What you’ll do:
- Build and own a creator acquisition pipeline (origination → negotiation → close)
- Partner directly with creators (and their reps/managers) as long-term commercial partners
- Structure bespoke monetisation agreements (e.g. revenue share, performance-linked economics, long-term partnerships)
- Exercise judgement on which creators to partner with and why
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure strong handover and long-term success
What we’re looking for:
You’ll likely come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Creator monetisation, creator acquisition, or partnerships roles at a creator-first platform or business
- A commercial role where creators were the customer, not the inventory
- A non-linear career path bridging sales, partnerships, and creator economics
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience selling to creators as businesses
- Ownership of complex, long-term commercial deals (not one-off campaigns)
- Comfort with bespoke deal structures and ambiguity
- Strong relationship-building skills with creators, agents, and managers
- Commercial judgement and selectivity over volume
Why this role:
- High-impact, senior position in a growing creator-first business
- Opportunity to shape how creators monetise sustainably at scale
- Autonomy, trust, and visibility with senior leadership
- Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunity
What this role is not:
To help with alignment, this role is not focused on:
- Influencer or brand campaign execution
- Creator operations, onboarding, or platform enablement
- Advertising or brand-side sales
- Affiliate-only or programme-led partnerships
If you’ve built trusted commercial relationships with creators and want to operate at the intersection of sales, strategy, and the creator economy, we’d love to hear from you.
