Position: Nursery Educator / Nursery Practitioner
Location: Acton, West London – 2 min walk from South Acton Station (W3 8GJ)
Salary: £25,500 – £27,000 + Benefits
Hours: Full‐time, 40 hours/week, rotating early and late shifts (7:30am – 6:30pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality care and learning activities for children in a safe, stimulating environment
- Implement the EYFS framework and any other relevant guidance
- Observe and report on children's progress; maintain learning journals
- Ensure safety: no child is left alone in the nursery or on outings
- Participate in the key person system and maintain key children's learning profiles
- Work collaboratively with parents, attend meetings and open days
- Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the nursery
- Support overall nursery operations, including assessments and security
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Minimum Level 2 in Childcare & Education (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS
- Nursery experience
- First Aid (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
