As DCG and its subsidiaries continue to expand their footprint, the need for increased automation and more efficient processes and procedures has grown exponentially. The Director of Financial Operations will report to DCG’s CFO and be responsible for the effectiveness of all Finance platforms/systems at DCG. DCG is seeking an individual that has broad finance systems experience, can identify deficiencies and areas for improvements, develop solutions, and implement solutions successfully.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience directly overseeing technology automation projects for finance and related functions across large organizations. A deep understanding of the needs of finance, accounting, and risk groups will be a key focus, in addition to project management across disparate teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Perform continual review and diagnosis of finance-related processes and procedures to identify objectives and areas for improvement / automation.
• Work with vendors / consultants to identify and scope out key enhancements and improvements.
• Effectively communicate technology objectives, design recommendations and planned implementation to non-technical audiences.
• Prepare recommendations / project plans to senior management for review and approval.
• Identify key resources necessary for implementation projects and ensure buy-in / appropriate engagement across the DCG organization.
• Support and manage new areas of systems / process implementation across the DCG Finance vertical to successful conclusion.
• Supervise timelines and deliverables for all projects including providing key management updates.
• Hire and oversee a team of financial operations professionals and/or consultants.
• Support DCG’s subsidiaries in their needs for automation / process improvement and coordinate best practices among subsidiaries to ensure consistency across the company.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10-15 years of experience implementing financial systems or reporting platforms in medium to large organizations.
• Experience in finance, accounting, and risk functions in the context of a financial services business.
• Demonstrated expertise with finance, accounting and risk systems, their inter-relationships and dependencies and outputs.
• Strong decision maker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of delivering comprehensive financial solutions, and ability to manage multiple projects and people concurrently.
• Demonstrated technical expertise with the management of financial data and related analysis and reporting thereof.
• Experience with transactions consistent with a multi-segment global company, including intercompany transactions and multi-currency consolidations.
• Experience with regulated financial institutions.
• Experience with Intacct or comparable ledger system helpful.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
