The Integrated Marketing Organization, within our US Pharmaceuticals division, is instrumental in driving both brand and marketing strategies, leveraging a cross-functional suite of peers to orchestrate communications and campaigns for optimal impact across key customer audiences. Partnering with peers in the Product and Customer Engagement Organizations, this team is adept at identifying synergies, enabling business-critical transformation and modeling what it looks like to be curious, inspired and unbossed. Each and every day, the Marketing Organization will collaborate and innovate to get more medicines, faster, into the hands of the people that need them most.
Job Purpose: The Director, Demand Management & Prioritization Lead will oversee demand forecasting and prioritization for products, services and resources across the commercial US Pharma organization. This role will report directly into the Head of Marketing Operations to continually evolve demand planning to manage lead generation and the continuous optimization, minimise forecast variability and meet strategic objectives. This individual will establish demand planning as a central discipline within the organization, working across Integrated Marketing & Customer Experience to ensure launches and inline products experiences and campaign targeting and deployment achieve business brand or portfolio goals and financial.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop accurate and timely demand forecast by partnering with Product Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Customer Engagement, and Finance to minimise forecast variability.
- Provide input and facilitate business process assessments, making recommendations and facilitating implementation within the Marketing Operations group.
- Ensure alignment of demand forecast with estimates and/or provide reconciliation and analysis of variance.
- Prepare written analyses, documentation, reports or other data to develop forecast and assess business outcomes.
Minimum Requirements What you’ll bring to the role:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial marketing in a regulated industry. Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading demand forecasting and prioritization for products, services and resources. Commercial and/or cross-functional experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Consumer Packaged Goods, preferred. Experience in finance/procurement preferred.
- Ability to synthesise information and create a clear synopsis of key issues.
- Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvements in business processes and associated underpinning technologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
