This is a Full-time or Part-time on-site role for an Accounting Bookkeeper based in Glasgow. The Accounting Bookkeeper will perform daily bookkeeping and financial management tasks. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Filing VAT & Annual returns
  • Creating and managing journal entries
  • Maintaining accurate records using accounting software
  • Supporting financial operations

The role will require precise attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Bookkeeping and handling Journal Entries accurately
  • Experience with Accounting Software Xero and Quickbooks and preparing Financial Statements
  • Strong Finance and Accounting fundamentals to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Glasgow
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or service industry is a plus
  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset to handle financial tasks efficiently
