We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised individual who is articulate, curious, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment across a range of projects. The successful candidate needs to be a natural self-starter and can work as part of a team across a range of disciplines. We have a complex, multi P&L structure and are looking for a Group Financial Controller to work across all businesses within the group and put processes in place to manage workloads across the teams. This role will be instrumental to the management and improvement of the control, reporting, management and forecasting of the Group working capital and cash areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of Group level reporting including to Lenders, statutory audits, ad hoc Group reporting, treasury management, cash forecasting (short, medium and longer term)
- Management of overall Group balance sheets
- Management of external audit, Lender relationships
- Management of Group insurance arrangements
- Lead process improvement across all finance areas
- Lead the ongoing corporate structure simplification liaising with internal and external stakeholders
ROLE SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- ACA qualified (ideally 5+ years PQE)
- Advertising agency experience is preferable, or experience within a professional services business (used to dealing with ‘selling time’ is ideal)
- Experience in Financial Reporting is essential
- Experience in Cash Management essential
- Experience with Forecasting is preferable
- Global experience would be an advantage
