We’re looking for someone to join VCCP Roar as Operations Executive / Manager, working to make the agency a great place to work, while running efficiently and profitably, to deliver against our ambitious growth targets.

This is a fantastic role to join us at the beginning of Roar’s history. This is a hands-on, proactive role managing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the agency. You’ll be an “ear to the ground,” supporting everything from agency planning, management of business-critical work, supplier management, employee onboarding, internal communications and event planning. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the agency.

Working closely with the Director of Operations, this role requires an efficient individual who can learn quickly and roll their sleeves up to help on a wide range of tasks, to help the Exec Board roll-out vital business decisions and initiatives. In return, you’ll get the chance to work alongside a group of talented and dedicated people, in a supportive team structure, as well as colleagues from the wider VCCP partnership (across office support, finance, new biz & marketing, People and recruitment teams, IT and ops).

Key Responsibilities fall into the following main categories:

  • Agency planning: Work with the Ops Director to develop and support key strategic initiatives on the running of the agency, acting as project manager for the annual business plan, breaking down objectives and driving collaborative delivery across the agency. Support planning and strategic initiatives for three business areas - working closely with Managing Partners to deliver. Help create presentations and action plans for all executive and agency-wide meetings.
  • People & culture: Arrange and manage all staff events and programs, including company meeting and socials. Champion the L&D, DE&I, Sustainability and Wellbeing agenda.
  • Systems, process and supplier management: Understand the key agency processes and be instrumental in improving and streamlining agency processes in order to deliver efficiency gains. Lead on supplier subscriptions renewals and negotiations. Act as primary point of contact for the Yogi and global ops team, helping to navigate any issues and raise POs for agency costs. Partner with the Head of Strategy & Innovation to identify, test, and roll out new tools and technology - with a particular focus on how AI can be implemented to deliver efficiencies.
  • Office management: Lead on delivering a productive and enjoyable office environment, acting as the key point of contact with office support and IT.
