We are the challenger agency for challenger brands. We specialise in communications planning and activation that integrates creative with media and more. Our strategy and planning teams include specialists from SEO, social, PPC, data, technology, creative partnerships, and media. We are the only media agency whose strategists and planners incorporate insights from behavioural science, production, creative, PR, brand design, UX and beyond. From the first search right through to post-purchase management of data, we make everything compelling, coherent and cohesive. That’s how we transform a client’s business.

The Role

We’re looking for a Planning Executive, who wants to learn their trade. You’ll be supporting the wider Planning Team in producing creative communication strategies and plans, servicing our clients and pitching for new business opportunities. You’ll get to work across all paid media channels, from TV, video, cinema and radio, through to social media, digital display and paid search. Because of our unique set-up, you’ll also gain exposure to other elements of the marketing mix, from creative and content development, to behavioural science, AI deployment and PR, to website optimisation and building.

In your first year you will gain experience across all elements of a communications campaign. From taking the brief, to researching the marketplace and target audiences, to assessing the right media channels for the task, to buying elements of the campaign in key platforms, through to reporting on performance, and making sure the campaign delivers on objectives. You’ll be a key member of the team. The role is fast-paced, varied, and you’ll be exposed to a range of different challenges across a breadth of different clients and categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analysis of clients’ categories and competitors
  • Source useful information and insights from a range of sources to help build business cases and media plan rationales
  • Research and analysis of target audiences to understand attitudes, behaviours and media consumption
  • Coordinate client onboarding, campaign setup and planning documentation
  • Assist with BrandOS workshops, measurement setup and campaign planning
  • Work with the investment teams to support campaign activations
  • Helping senior Planners build media plans across a range of channels
  • Setting up and managing media campaigns in certain channels
  • Preparation of regular performance reports, so clients are always aware of how a campaign is delivering vs. objectives, as well as create Post-Campaign Analysis reports
  • Participating in regular ideas sessions to develop the most creative media solutions
  • Support new business pitches
  • Attend client meetings, workshops and reviews
  • Maintain PO trackers and support finance administration

Ideal Candidate

Media is a combination of client relationship-building, planning and buying. Therefore we need a candidate with a mixed bag of skills. Candidates should have a strong analytical mind and will need to be comfortable working with numbers on a day to day basis. Candidates should also be naturally inquisitive, curious, and have a strong point of view on creativity. Most importantly, we need bright, enthusiastic people, who are confident communicators and comfortable working within a team.
