ABOUT VCCP HEALTH: VCCP Health is a specialist agency that was set up to bring greater strategic rigour and raise creative standards in healthcare communications. Our aim is to bring the VCCP Challenger Spirit to the healthcare sector, not settling to do things as they’ve always been done, but rather look at how things could be done differently. The agency works on prescription, medical devices, animal health, OTC & wellness brands, developing the full range of materials required for communications aimed at healthcare professional and consumer audiences. ABOUT THE ROLE: A senior copywriter to join VCCP Health’s creative team. You will be a writer who is experienced working on healthcare copy for a range of mediums and audiences, and able to handle both long copy jobs, snappy roll-out tactics and large conceptual briefs. You will have the ability to work under tight deadlines. You’re a team player, collaborating confidently with our medical writers and art directors. You can manage your time effectively and are able to switch between projects as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Several years of copywriting experience in healthcare advertising or similar
- Creative and strategic thinking
- Conceptual and innovative
- Understanding of digital media environment opportunities
- Ability to write compelling headlines that align with the creative brief
- ABPI aware (regular training updates also provided)
