THE ROLE
We're looking for a self-made editorial Creator who has had internet successes with their editorial story and culture led content, who are great storytellers and brilliant at coming up with swathes of ideas under pressure, that they would also know how to execute.
ROLE SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Production and creative experience from a digital publisher like LadBible, thedigitalfairy, Joe, PUBERTY, BBC Creative or Channel 4, or as a journalist for a digital publisher or podcast.
- You have worked with budgets as low as £200 and extremely tight deadlines, such as just a few days to create and publish the content.
- Evidence of work that has gone viral and caught fire on the internet and in culture.
- Highly skilled at spotting the story and what would make it go viral.
- You can quickly write tight scripts within an always-on setup.
- You can direct small production teams on a shoot.
- Ability to shoot and edit ‘scrappy-premium’ culture led content.
- Writing social hooks.
- Knowledge on how to distribute ideas across the internet and culture.
- Spotting great influencer or featured talent.
- Storytelling beats needed on social, such as carousels, statics and video.
