Across every company and every capability, we share the same ambition: to challenge ourselves, challenge our clients and challenge the industry for the better.

THE ROLE

We believe transformation happens when everything works together. As our Group Head of AI Enablement, you will be the ultimate architect of our global AI agenda. Reporting directly to the Group COO, you will be a key figure in the group with extensive C-suite exposure, charged with ensuring our teams use AI to challenge the status quo, supercharge human creativity, and relentlessly optimise operational efficiency. We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised individual who is articulate, curious, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment across a range of projects.

Whilst the successful candidate needs to be a natural self-starter, it is also important that the candidate can work as part of a team across a range of disciplines. As the Group Head of AI Enablement, you will be the engine behind VCCP's "Challenger" spirit. You won't just deliver tools; you will be fiercely responsible for ensuring those tools fundamentally improve how we work, streamline agency operations, and drive measurable economic value. This role requires a rare hybrid mindset: someone who can maneuver beautifully through ambiguity, prioritise rigorously, and elegantly deliver massive transformation through others. In short, you are a self-starting go-getter who focuses on speed, value realization, and getting things done.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shaping the AI Agenda & Custom Roadmaps
    • Bespoke Functional Roadmaps: Work directly with business leads to architect distinct, practical AI roadmaps for every corner of the group; from Account Management and Production to Creative and back-office operations.
    • Challenging the Status Quo: Act as our resident tech evangelist, continually bringing fresh, disruptive AI thinking to the business to keep us miles ahead of the industry.
    • Centre of Excellence: Establish a high-performing "Centre of Excellence" for AI, actively sharing best practices, killer prompts, and high-impact case studies across our global network.
  • Operational Excellence & Value Realisation
    • Relentless Project Delivery: Move automation ideas aggressively from concept to full delivery. We are focused on output; you ensure projects are fully realised, adopted, and embedded into daily workflows.
    • Quantifying the Value: Partner closely with our COO to demonstrate, measure, and track the tangible ROI, time-savings, and margin improvements driven by our AI toolkit.
    • Maneuvering with Autonomy: Use your influence to lead and deliver through a matrixed network of agency leads, keeping everyone aligned even when navigating highly ambiguous operational spaces.
  • Creating AI Super-Proficiency
    • World-Class Training: Partner side-by-side with our Head of L&D to design and deploy elite training frameworks that build genuine AI super-proficiency across all levels of the network.
    • Organic Adoption: Connect and build deep rapport with agency leads across all locations, ensuring AI isn't viewed as a mandate, but embraced as a powerful operational and creative ally.

ABOUT YOU

  • The Services Veteran: You bring 10+ years of solid mid-to-senior level experience, specifically driving large-scale automation and technology delivery within a fast-paced global business services or agency environment.
  • The AI Evangelist: You possess a deep interest and practical knowledge in AI and LLMs. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you absolutely know how to prompt, scope, and deploy AI tools to obliterate operational inefficiencies.
  • PE Savvy: You have proven exposure working within Private Equity-backed businesses and possess the analytical discipline to prove the financial and qualitative value of every initiative you touch.
  • A Pure Self-Starter: You thrive in a high-energy environment where no two days are the same. You are resilient, proactive, possess a fierce can-do attitude, and are eager to roll your sleeves up.
  • Un-Precious & Personable: You build rapport instantly and can adapt your style effortlessly—equally comfortable talking API integrations with developers, agency margins with an MD, or creative workflows with a Creative Director.
