THE ROLE: Reporting into the Head of Design for VCCP Loyalty & CRM, as a senior designer, your focus will be to work on and design across all loyalty & CRM accounts. Experience in loyalty & CRM is vital to the role, with particular focus on designing for email, as is a huge enthusiasm for creating brilliant design in the discipline. We’re ambitious to offer the very best work in this sector, competing with specialist loyalty & CRM agencies and integrated agencies that offer loyalty & CRM alike. You’ll be working hands-on on briefs, ensuring all the work meets best practice standards and is bang on brand. It will be your responsibility to push loyalty & CRM design work, working with the team to create the best, most effective work possible. You’ll have experience in working on new business pitches, and relish doing so. You’ll also be proactive in looking for new opportunities to create outstanding work for our existing clients. You will be digitally and technologically savvy with a thirst for leading and pushing loyalty & CRM design.

SENIOR DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Taking ownership of the design process from brief through to final execution.
  • Create engaging, impactful designs across a number of channels – primarily email, web, social, presentations and DM.
  • Working closely with art directors, copywriters, strategy and account teams to develop and improve the work, making it the best it can be.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical constraints and how they will impact the creative, helping educate stakeholders where necessary.
  • Managing time and multiple projects to ensure that work is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Creative problem solving to find design solutions that align with client guidelines, objectives and all technical requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to continuously help improve design processes and deliver cutting-edge designs.
  • Presenting work both internally to relevant stakeholders and externally to clients, dealing professionally with feedback and managing expectations.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and third-party developers to ensure designs are fit for purpose.

SENIOR DESIGNER REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Be passionate, not precious.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and adapt with the role.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour and layout.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas.
  • Real-world experience of using AI image and video generation tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects across various mediums.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality design work.
  • Ability to work to deadlines on multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
