We are looking for an RVN to join our friendly and supportive team at Warwick. Avonvale is a group of seven primary care practices based around Warwickshire, with over 40 years of experience. Our RCVS qualified vets and nurses are dedicated to looking after small animals and their needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with a skilled team of veterinary surgeons holding various certificates, providing exposure to a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques.
- Take part in full nurse utilisation, incorporating consults and schedule 3 procedures into your working day, delivering high job satisfaction for the nursing population.
- Develop and expand your skills in areas such as anaesthesia, emergency, client care, and behaviour alongside an experienced team.
- Collaborate with patient care assistants (PCAs) to achieve the highest standards of care for patients.
- Perform some out‑of‑hours work – nights or weekends – with a self‑motivated RVN who has their own transport.
- Follow the established rota: relaxed 1:13 weekend, 1:10 nights and 1:8 Saturday pm rota, plus Saturday mornings 1:7 at branch dependent on local requirements.
