We’re hiring a Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse to support and develop our nursing team at Avonvale Veterinary Practice in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role is full‑time (40 hrs/week) and includes Saturday mornings.
What You’ll Do
- Support, develop and mentor nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the Senior Vet, Certified Neonatal Manager (CNM) and nurse colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with practice and group policies.
- Create a positive, efficient, collaborative working environment.
- Make full use of nursing time, including consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.
- Facilitate clinical audits across your area of responsibility.
- Organise and conduct 6‑monthly Professional Development Reviews (PDRs) with line‑managed staff.
