Job Title: Patient Care Assistant Location: Davies Veterinary Specialists Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (1:4 weekends) The role of a Patient Care Assistant is to support nurses and interns in delivering the highest standards of patient care. You will provide hands‑on care to patients, maintain overall cleanliness and organization, and manage stock levels to ensure the smooth running of the day. Responsibilities • Support nurses and interns with patient care activities.• Provide hands‑on care to patients.• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.• Monitor and manage stock levels for supplies and equipment.• Ensure a smooth running of daily operations by coordinating with team members. Qualifications You will be a highly organized, motivated team player who can cope with a fast‑paced, physically, mentally and emotionally demanding environment. Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care are essential. Previous animal care experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
