Hours: Full time, 4 on 5 off pattern, equivalent of 37.5 hours per week.

We have comprehensive and established clinical and non‑clinical programmes for training, development and CPD.

Role and responsibilities

Develop your career with DWR and be part of something special. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic RVN to join the vibrant Night Team working in our busy, purpose‑built clinic that is fully equipped with the surgical equipment and diagnostic facilities commensurate with a flagship specialist veterinary centre. As a Night Nurse you will have the opportunity to work in all our wards, including ICU, nursing canine and feline patients across all disciplines. You will also be involved with the care and triage of emergencies admitted out of hours. Night Nurses are allocated to a ward for the duration of their set of shifts which allows you to get to know your patients and recognise changes in their condition. You will work alongside a team of Nurses, Nursing Assistants and Interns with a Specialist from each department on call. No two nights are the same! This makes working nights interesting and challenging with generous time off, giving a good work‑life balance. We are looking for a full‑time associate to join our team, working 12‑hour shifts from 18:30 to 06:30 on a 4 on 5 off pattern. You will have excellent all‑round nursing skills, with a passion and drive for delivering outstanding patient care. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive working environment whilst also being able to use your initiative and challenge the status quo. Referral nursing experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
