Village Vet is a well-established primary care practice group providing excellent levels of veterinary professional care across 30 practices covering London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Village Vet Milton is a very busy, progressive and forward-thinking veterinary hospital. Open 24/7 365 days of the year, we pride ourselves on both our day to day and emergency veterinary care.
We are currently seeking an evening Client Care Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Front of house, welcoming clients and their pets into the branch
- Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner
- Support the business with a range of administrative duties
- Ensure a smooth client and pet flow from the waiting area to the consult room to payment processing
- Take calls for our emergency service and take payments
- Communicate with clients and clients’ pets courteously and empathetically
- Handle communications with referring vets and colleagues to a high standard
- Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards
- Manage the practice diary to ensure all patients are booked in efficiently
- Work closely with your vet and neighbouring branches
- Clean the consultation and waiting areas throughout the evening
- A proactive, positive attitude
- Adaptability to learning a new system if no previous experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated to provide excellent service to clients and the practice
- Works well within a team and acts as a positive member
- Ability to work at a fast working pace under pressure and manage own workload
- Professional approach to work
- Excellent administration, organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
