Wear Referrals, part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health Europe, is a multi-disciplinary, specialist veterinary referral hospital in the North East of England. The hospital offers services in neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, oncology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology, as well as an out‑of‑hours emergency service and in‑house hydrotherapy.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in all imaging modalities, with a focus on radiography and ultrasonography initially.
  • Train in advanced imaging (CT and MRI) image acquisition.
  • Work as part of the out‑of‑hours rota alongside existing radiographers.
  • Assist in interpreting and writing reports across all modalities under direct supervision by an ECVDI diploma holder.
  • Support the diagnostic imaging team in fluoroscopy and radiographic quality improvement.
  • Participate in continuous learning and a collegiate atmosphere, including clinical research opportunities.

  • Experience or interest in veterinary diagnostic imaging is preferred.
