Position Overview

Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time – 32 hours per week
Salary: Starting from £31,200 per annum (inclusive of enhanced weekend rate), depending on experience.
About the Role
This is a part‑time permanent position. Working hours are:
- Thursday and Friday nights and 1:3 Wednesday night shifts.
- Participation in the weekend rotation – 1:3 Saturday night shifts and Bank Holiday rotation.

- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with proven experience in a similar role.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Can work well in a busy environment.
- Proactive, "can do" attitude.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

Day‑to‑Day Duties
- Primarily based in ward areas, ensuring patient comfort and recovery during stays.
- Nursing a wide range of cases: specialised diets, medications, pain relief, physiotherapy, catheter and drain care, mental stimulation and wound management.
- Work closely with clinicians, anaesthetists, patient care assistants, twilight team and day nurse teams.
